Mér finnst afar skemmtilegt að lesa bækur sem eru fyndnar. Eftir bókarýni hvurslags (sem er næst á leslistanum (Surely you´re joking Mr. Feynman!)) finnst mér í góðu lagi að stofna ábendingaþráð um slíkt, enda gestapóar með trylltan húmor.
I hope they serve beer in hell eftir Tucker Max er endalaust fyndin þó seint teljist til klassískra bókmennta.
Litla gula hænan er tvímælalaust besta bók allra tíma.
Mort eftir Pratchett... ég hef sjaldan hlegið jafn mikið í einrúmi og þegar ég las hana fyrst... serstaklega þetta hér.
The only things known to go faster than ordinary light is monarchy, according to the philosopher Ly Tin Weedle. He reasoned like this: you can't have more than one king, and tradition demands that there is no gap between kings, so when a king dies the succession must therefore pass to the heir instantaneously. Presumably, he said, there must be some elementary particles -- kingons, or possibly queons -- that do this job, but of course succession sometimes fails if, in mid-flight, they strike an anti-particle, or republicon. His ambitious plans to use his discovery to send messages, involving the careful torturing of a small king in order to modulate the signal, were never fully expanded because, at that point, the bar closed.

The librarian sat in the corner of the coach and sulked. Around his neck was a bright red collar with the word PONGO in big letters. Someone was going to suffer for this.

Vonnegut er oft mjög fyndinn. Þá mæli ég sérstaklega með Breakfast of Champions.
A.m.k. fengur sumar ansi hreint óvæntan endi.

Uppáhaldið mitt er:
The Duke had a mind that ticked like a clock. And, like a clock, it regularly went cuckoo.
